Non-bias Seo Software Comparison
SEO Software Features and Comparison Breakdown.
SEO can be a fickle game if you would prefer to hire an SEO service please get in touch, if you want to learn the ropes yourself, continue to read. One second you are dominating and the next you are falling behind your competition. As you probably know by now, the closer you get to the number one position in the major search engines the more traffic you receive. And with more traffic come more sales and profits providing you’ve chosen well selected converting keyphrases.
There are three SEO software’s which have risen to the top and leading the industry to help you gain information to help productivity on your campaigns. They include in no particular order, Internet Business Promoter, SEO Powersuite, and Web CEO. You should consider all three of these if you are interested in making the most of your website. We’ve tried and tested all three over the years since first doing this review back in 2010, updating it in 2014 has seen IPB go from a market leader to subsequently move aside for SEO Powersuite and WebCEO (in our opinion).
Our Opinion shouldn’t throw bias on what you are looking to achieve; it should be seen as a guide. This post is aimed at SEO professionals rather than people wanting to learn SEO. This isn’t software that automates any aspect of SEO, and if it did I’d be telling you all how bad it is, its use is to make life easier of gauging, tracking, analysing and reporting which in turn is a massive time saver over doing it all manually. Time is Money!
Lets cut to the chase, all 3 offer very similar features including rank trackers, website auditors , Backlink Analysis and so on. In every measure of these main features for us SEO Powersuite wins hands down every time with Web CEO coming in close behind, they do what they say they do but SEO power suite seemed to be more efficient in bringing results that made sense in our research. If you like it confirmed or allocated reassurance of research we had already been working on to give us an excellent guide that we were doing the right things at the right times.
All three software suites offer a free/trial version – this is good for anybody who just wants to take a test run ( Which we highly recommend ). From there you should be at a stage where you will have good enough insight as to what platform is going to suit you best, there are also different plans to consider such as enterprise editions, business editions and cloud-based editions along with Pay monthly. The necessary costs, however, look a little like this:
- IBP Business Edition EUR 379.95 ( Note Euro’s, not USD’s ) ( this is also discounted from EUR 499.95 at the time of writing )
- SEO PowerSuite Professional (Only $299, perfect for website owners and webmasters, again cut from $499 at the date of this post)
- Web CEO Professional for $299 (40% OFF at the date of writing this post)
As you can see, IPB is indeed more expensive than the other two and in my opinion not worth the extra expense.
This is an intricate detail to rate because everybody is looking for something different from their SEO software. For us the ease of use and clean UI of SEO Powersuite was simple, time efficient and more pleasing to use, we still use SEO Powersuite to this day for all client reporting and tracking, the time saved generating reports and navigating through the software is priceless.
I highly doubt you’ll ever need support for functionality issues but if you do all three platforms offer a support ticket system. Web CEO and SEO power suite are incredibly well documented with guides and information on their websites while IPB’s website just seems to be a 2005 nasty affiliate sales page trying to sell something which I find myself wanting to leave pretty quickly. Also to note that Web CEO has a live chat support of which I don’t believe the others do, SEO power suite, on the other hand, has support forums and blog, along with highly active social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Google +. Again in this section, there is two of the software which stand out from the crowd.
All of these programs have many clients. For example, more than 677k people or organisations are currently using Web CEO. Some of their customers include IBM, PayPal, Hitachi, Motorola, Nissan, Deloitte, and J.B.
Hunt among many others but equally the other two platforms also boast a broad range of high profile clients which again comes down to specific needs of which you can only gauge based on YOU trying each of the trial versions.
As you can see, features, price, usability, support, and reach are a good place to start. Of course, you are the one using the software so you should put together your comparison system.
This will help to ensure that you make the right decision for YOU
