★★★★★ Rated on Trustpilot & Google · Live on trading competition sites
Everything between “buy a ticket” and “meet our winner”
Competition businesses fail on operations, not marketing: draws that can’t be defended, spreadsheets of tickets, refund chaos. The engine handles the machinery so you can focus on prizes and audience.
Provably fair draws
Auditable, tamper-evident draw mechanics your customers can verify, the trust foundation the whole business stands on.
Instant wins
Configurable instant-win prizes seeded through ticket ranges, with odds and prize tables you control.
Tickets, wallets & refunds
Number allocation, wallet credit, part-refunds and rollovers handled cleanly at any volume.
Compliance tooling
Free entry routes, age gates, T&C acceptance and winner records, the paperwork UK prize competitions need, built in.
Marketing hooks
Countdown urgency, sold-percentage meters, past-winner galleries and email/SMS integration points that sell tickets.
Admin & reporting
Draw management, sales dashboards and winner workflows that one person can run from a phone.
Competition websites run as a partnership
Generic ecommerce with a raffle plugin bolted on treats a competition like a product with a quantity field. A real competition business needs ticket allocation that cannot oversell under load, draws a customer can independently verify, instant wins committed before a single ticket sells, a free entry route with genuine parity, and the player-protection tooling UK regulation now expects.
That is what our Competition Engine does, and it is all it does. Every site we launch runs on the same proven platform that powers our own competition brand, taking real entries from real players today. Launch on a fully managed monthly lease, or partner with us on shared equity and revenue. You run the competitions. We run the technology.
An entry flow players enjoy: live ticket bar and countdown, quick-select entries, skill question, card or wallet payment, one-handed on a phone.
Instant wins revealed card by card on the order confirmation, with prizes credited to the player’s wallet automatically.
A free postal route beside the paid route with equal prominence, exactly as UK guidance expects.
An account area showing every ticket, win and transaction a player has ever had with you.

Player protection built in from day one
UK prize competitions are under growing scrutiny, and the platform is built for where the rules are heading rather than where they were.
Responsible play
Daily, weekly and monthly spend limits with cooling-off periods, self-exclusion with no early reversal, harm monitoring aligned to the DCMS Code, and support signposting throughout.
Identity & access
Age verification at registration, ID verification with secure document handling, a region gate restricting entry to permitted countries, and fraud controls that lock a flagged account down across every entry point.
The paper trail
An append-only audit log of every significant action, DCMS Code review checklists with exportable history, postal entries recorded beside paid entries, and compliance metrics on the dashboard.
Marketing machinery included, not extra
A competition site lives or dies on repeat entries, so the growth tooling most operators pay monthly subscription fees for ships with the platform. Self-excluded players are automatically vetoed from every marketing send.
Consent-first SMS and email marketing with click tracking and delivery analytics.
Spin-to-Win capture wheel with the prize decided server-side, and a referral programme that rewards only identity-verified sign-ups.
Membership packages, SEO landing pages and a live wins ticker.
Pre-launch mode that collects registrations and builds search presence before your first draw opens.
Your team gets a branded console. We keep the engine running.
You should be sourcing prizes and talking to winners, not patching WordPress. Your staff log in to a clean console built for competition work; hosting, security, updates, caching and monitoring stay permanently our responsibility.
You may have seen hosted raffle platforms warn you off WordPress. The problems they describe come from stacking generic plugins on cheap shared hosting. Our engine is hardened custom code on managed infrastructure, built by a team that has run WooCommerce stores at scale for over twenty years, so your customer data, content and search rankings live in a platform you control, with no per-order fees quietly taxing your growth.
Reporting at a glance: fill rates, revenue and wallet liability.
Draw management with one-click verification, instant win pools, withdrawals and postal entries.
A profit calculator for modelling a draw before you launch it.
Test mode for rehearsing an entire competition invisibly on the live site.
Lease it as a service, or share the upside with us
Every operator starts from a different place, so the same platform is available under two commercial models. Both are fully managed, both are built around your brand, and both are agreed in plain written terms before any work begins.
Model one
The managed lease
Delivered the way modern software is delivered. A setup fee covers your unique design, branding, build and launch, then one flat monthly retainer covers everything else. The right fit if you want a straightforward supplier relationship and full ownership of the commercial upside.
- Platform licence, hosting, security and updates
- Priority support and continuous improvement
- No surprise maintenance invoices
- No per-ticket fees
Model two
The equity partnership
A proper competition platform can cost many thousands before you have sold a single ticket. Instead of a large upfront build fee, we take an agreed equity share in your limited company plus a share of revenue, making us genuine stakeholders in your success rather than a supplier sending invoices.
- No large upfront build fee
- You stay in control and make every operational decision
- Same platform, same fully managed service
- Terms set out in writing before any work begins
In this industry, trust is the product
Competition businesses live and die on whether entrants believe the draw is real. One “rigged” accusation that can’t be answered with evidence ends brands overnight. The engine is built so every draw carries its own proof, and your reputation compounds instead of eroding.
Before a competition closes, the platform publishes a cryptographic commitment to the draw seed and declares a public randomness source such as RANDOM.ORG or a Bitcoin block hash. After the draw, everything is revealed and anyone can recompute the winner, so rigging a result after seeing the entries is mathematically impossible. Some platforms ask players to trust a closed system. We publish the mathematics instead, alongside searchable entry lists, a full draw results archive and a winner wall fed by real photo uploads.
Auditable draw records — every draw reproducible and verifiable after the fact.
Winner evidence workflow — announcements, records and galleries that build belief.
Clean money handling — wallets, refunds and reconciliation that survive scrutiny.
A team that knows the sector — we’ve built and run competition platforms, not just read about them.
Questions competition operators actually ask
Every competition business is different, so we do not publish one-size-fits-all pricing. Tell us about your plans and we will recommend the model that genuinely fits, walk you through exactly what is included, and set out every commercial term in writing before any work begins.
Is this an off-the-shelf raffle plugin?
No. The Competition Engine is our own platform, written from the ground up for UK prize competitions and already trading in production. Ticket allocation, instant wins, wallets, draws, compliance tooling and the marketing suite are one codebase that we build, run and improve ourselves. Nothing is bolted together from third-party raffle plugins.
How is this different from hosted raffle platforms?
Three ways. First, ownership: your site, content, customer data and search rankings live on a platform you control rather than inside someone else’s system. Second, commercials: there are no per-order fees taxing your growth, and our equity option means you can launch without a large upfront cost, which no hosted platform offers. Third, trust: our draws are verifiable by anyone using published mathematics, rather than a closed system you are asked to take on faith. You also get a full design and marketing agency behind the software, not just a login.
What is the difference between the lease and the equity partnership?
The leased service works like the rest of our managed platforms: a setup fee for your unique design and launch, then a flat monthly retainer covering the platform licence, hosting, security, updates and support. The equity partnership replaces the upfront build fee with an agreed equity and revenue share in your company, so we are invested in your success from day one. Both get the same platform and the same fully managed service. The difference is purely commercial, and we agree the exact terms with you in writing before any work begins.
So we lease the platform rather than own it?
Yes, and we are upfront about that because it is the whole point of the model. You own your brand, your domain and your customer data outright. The website and the competition platform are provided as part of your arrangement, which is what keeps the technology updated, secure and entirely our responsibility rather than yours.
Do we get the source code or technical access?
No. You get a fully managed, fully branded platform, but the underlying source code and technical operation stay with us. That is the part we look after, and it is exactly why you never have to deal with the technical side.
Do I need a limited company?
For the equity partnership, yes. The arrangement is structured as a shareholding, so you need a limited company, or to set one up, so the agreed shares can be formally allocated. It is straightforward to do and we can point you in the right direction. The leased service has no such requirement.
Who runs the business day to day?
You do. You market the site, run the competitions, source and fund the prizes, take the payments and look after your customers. We do not control how you price or promote. We keep the platform running underneath it all.
Are competitions like this legal in the UK?
Prize competitions operate legally in the UK when they are run correctly, typically with a genuine skill question and a free entry route, which the platform implements as standard alongside responsible play controls, audit trails and DCMS Code review tooling. Compliance itself, and your terms and conditions, remain your responsibility as the operator, and we always recommend taking your own independent legal advice.
What about payment processing?
You will need a merchant account with a processor that accepts prize competition businesses. We have been through this before and will guide you through the options during onboarding, then integrate your chosen gateway.
Can we use our own branding and domain?
Yes. Your site is designed around your own logo, colours, branding and domain, with its own layout and copy. It is unmistakably yours rather than a clone of anyone else on the platform, which matters for search rankings as much as for identity.
How fast can we launch?
Weeks, not months, because the engine already exists. Most of the timeline is your branding, prizes and content decisions. The built-in pre-launch mode even lets your site go live early in a fully public coming-soon state, collecting registrations and building search presence before your first draw opens.
What happens if we part ways?
Your brand and domain stay yours, and we hand over your customer and order data in standard formats. The platform itself retires with the arrangement. There is no lock-in on the things that are genuinely yours, and any equity terms are governed by the written agreement we both signed at the start.
Already running a competition site?
If your current site is slow, insecure or held together by a stack of ageing plugins, we can move you. We migrate customers, orders, wallet balances and competition history onto the platform, and plan migrations so trading never stops. Not ready for a full move? Our WordPress maintenance, performance tuning and security recovery services can steady the ship you already have.
